scrapbook inspiration with the late summer paper pack

How I Came Up With This Page

I started this scrapbook page by printing out 3 photos with the Liene Photo Printer. I love printing pictures with a white border! (I normally use Persnickety Box, but I've been trying out some different portable printers for scrapbooking on the go!)

I wanted to turn this into a collage with some scraps I had, so I started by putting some washi tape across the bottom. My mom taught me to add a strip along harsh borders to make the page look more cohesive.

I also learned this banner technique from my mom! We just layered some strips of paper and cut triangles out of the bottoms. Once I had layers and scraps as my base, I stuck the journal card and photos down.

While I LOVE blank space, I decided to fill in some of the awkward gaps with gems and a dried baby breath. The pick and place tool with the bearly arts precision glue works great for sticking the gems down!
